About me

Nice to meet you!

My journey into design began after working in marketing and events, where I saw how much thoughtful communication could impact people. What started with self-study (and a lot of Googling) grew into personal projects, formal training, and ongoing 1:1 mentorship with Pavel Bukengolts, UX design leader and professor at Nossi College of Art and Design.

As a Volunteer and Partnership Manager at Ladies That UX Porto, I collaborate with an inspiring community of women in design. My role is to help grow and strengthen our network by building partnerships, organizing events, and creating opportunities that support the development of our members. Through this work, I’m giving back to the design community and also learning and growing alongside it.

I’m still at the start of my design career, but I bring curiosity, empathy, and energy to everything I do, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and creating meaningful work.

How I approach design

I’m still early in my journey, but here’s how I like to roll: start with empathy, stay curious, and learn with every turn. Whether it’s user flows or sticky notes, I’m always thinking about how to make things more thoughtful, usable, and a little more human.

Spoiler: there's no GPS, just heart & iteration 💜

Understand

I start by researching, listening, observing, and asking questions. The more I understand people’s needs and context, the better I can design something that truly fits.

Define

I take what I’ve learned and turn it into focus: key insights, clear problems, and meaningful goals. This step helps me design with purpose, not assumptions.

Sketch

I explore ideas freely, sketching, mapping, and testing directions. No pressure for perfection, just space to think widely before narrowing down.

Design

This is where I start shaping the experience, designing with care, and doing my best to turn what I’ve learned into something clear, useful, and honest.

Learn

Feedback is gold.

I reflect, iterate, and keep learning, because thoughtful design is a constant evolution.

A few (fun?) facts

Beyond design

A proud “auntie” to Arya 🐶, biking is my happy place 🚲, I shed a tear (or two) in Disney movies 🎬, love discovering food and culture while travelling 🍜, hiking and long walks keep me grounded 🌱, visiting exhibitions inspires me 🎨, and I’m actively involved in Porto’s female design community through Ladies That UX 🤝
